BU Library
The central library contains a good collection of books on all programs taught at the university. The library is available for students who wish to make proper use of it during the working hours.
Islamic Studies Library is in the process of construction. Hence, services may differ slightly from the other B.U. libraries.
The library is the primary academic information resource for the Benadir University. It contributes directly to the University’s commitment to teaching, research, and the development of new knowledge by:
- Providing the B.U. community with equitable access to information, recorded knowledge, and an environment that stimulates learning, teaching, research, and study.
- Acquiring, organizing, and freely disseminating information resources appropriate to the educational purpose of B.U.
- Promoting information services in a manner which reflects the distinctive character of the University.
- Working collaboratively with all the BU Faculties and Centers.
